The Cerebrovascular Center is a multidisciplinary group consisting staff from Neurosurgery, Neurology, Neuroradiology, Interventional Radiology, Anesthesiology, Neuro-ophthalmology and Radiation Therapy. The center offers coordinated care to patients with any cerebrovascular disorder including aneurysm, carotid occlusive disease, vascular malformations (AVM's, cavernous malformations, venous malformations) and stroke. The Center also offers care to patients who have had a cerebrovascular accident. Novel technology like the intraoperative MR and functional scanning (SPECT scan) allows the center to offer sophisticated surgical planning for some patients whose lesions were previously deemed inoperable.
