A major teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School (HMS), all Brigham and Women’s Hospital physicians are on the faculty of HMS. We deliver clinical consultations and education through partnerships with foreign governments, in-country health care providers, and educational organizations. A member of the Partners HealthCare Telemedicine Center, Brigham and Women’s Hospital makes it convenient for physicians worldwide to communicate with our specialists regarding complex cases or refer patients for routine or urgent care.
The Telemedicine Center enables referring physicians to:
- Consult one-on-one with Brigham and Women’s Hospital physicians and specialists;
- Transmit and receive information and patient records electronically;
- Readily schedule patient appointments and confidential online or phone consultations.
Teaching Tomorrow’s Physicians and Scientists
A world-premier center for training of outstanding physicians, scientists, and other health care professionals, Brigham and Women’s Hospital fosters an atmosphere of discovery and innovation. Thousands of graduate medical students around the world compete each year for openings at the hospital’s 34 accredited training programs. Brigham and Women’s Hospital provides clinical rotations for more than half of the third- and fourth-year Harvard Medical School students who learn the art and science of medicine from the hospital’s active staff.
