The Biomedical Research Institute's (BRI) Interdisciplinary Research Workshop series is designed to bring together BWH researchers from multiple Research Centers to showcase their expertise, interest and research on a particular theme.
The workshops provide a forum for faculty - particularly junior faculty - to learn about one another’s research, connect with other investigators exploring similar research questions and discover scientific resources available to them at this hospital.

 The entire BWH community is invited to attend the BRI Interdisciplinary workshop on Aging, on Friday, December 16 from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the NRB Rotunda at Harvard Medical School.
This workshop aims to bring together BWH researchers from multiple disciplines to showcase their expertise, interest and research on mechanisms and correlates of aging (stem cells, epigenetics, autophagy, mitophagy).
In addition, the workshop aims to make participants aware of resources available to them for their aging-related research and to discuss the possibility of developing a Health Aging cohort at BWH.
