Genitourinary Radiology Service

Genitourinary Radiology is a service of the Abdominal Imaging and Intervention Section and provides complete imaging evaluation for all patients with diseases of the genitourinary system. Conventional radiologic examinations include:
- Retrograde and antegrade cystography
- Retrograde urethrography
- Voiding cystourethrography
- Ileal or colonic conduit studies
- Hysterosalpingography
Also offered are Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Computed Tomography (CT) of the genitourinary tract, including:
- MR urography
- Adrenal MRI
- Renal MRI
- Pelvic MRI
- Prostate MRI
- Penile MRI
- CT urography
- CT cystography
- Adrenal CT
- Renal CT
- Ureter CT
We perform ultrasound- and CT-guided biopsy, fluid aspiration, and drainages and MRI-,CT-and ultrasound-guided percutaneous ablations. Retrograde pyelography is performed in conjunction with the Urology Division. Ultrasound of the kidney, bladder, prostate, scrotum, penis, and urethra is performed by the Ultrasound Service.
