Directions

General

The Department of Pathology at Brigham and Women's Hospital is located on the third floor of the Amory Building, which is that portion of the hospital building that faces out onto Francis Street above the entrance at 75 Francis Street. There are three entrances to the hospital on Francis Street. Follow the directions below depending on which entrance you will be using.

75 Francis Street

This is the entrance nearest the hospital towers, and closest to the Amory Building. Upon entering the lobby through the large revolving door, make an immediate right, and take the elevators on your right UP to the third floor. Make a left from the elevator, and enter the first door on your left. This short hallway will lead you to the department Main Office directly ahead. You can ask at the reception desk for further directions to any specific office or location in the department.

45 Francis Street

This is the entrance to the lobby of the Ambulatory Building, which has facilities for underground parking. Upon entering the lobby, make a left and take another left immediately past the Registration Desk. Follow this hallway, which turns to the right after about 50 feet. Continue along this hallway, and you will reach a portion of the hallway that opens up to a lobby below (you will be on the second floor). You are now in the Amory Building. Take one of the three elevators on your left to UP the third floor, make a left from the elevator, and enter the first door on your left. This short hallway will lead you to the department Main Office directly ahead. You can ask at the reception desk for further directions to any specific office or location in the department.

15 Francis Street

This is the original columned entrance to the hospital, and is found nearest Huntington Avenue, at Brigham Circle, at the end of an upward-sloping driveway. Once inside the old lobby, make a left and continue down a long, straight hallway ("The Pike") until the end, just past the hospital cafeteria. Make a left to a short curved hallway, and make the first left, continuing over a short windowed hallway. At the end of the hallway, make a left, and take the elevator on the right side of the hallway UP to the third floor. Make a left from the elevator, and enter the first door on your left. This short hallway will lead you to the department Main Office directly ahead. You can ask at the reception desk for further directions to any specific office or location in the department.
