Brigham and Women's Hospital Main Campus

From the North:
Head South on Route 93. Take exit 26 (Route 28/Route 3 North) toward Storrow Drive. Keep left at the fork in the ramp. Turn slight right onto Route 3 North. Merge onto Storrow Drive west. Take the Fenway/Route 1 South exit (on left). Stay in the left lane as you drive up the ramp. At lights, bear right onto Boylston Street. At third set of lights, bear left onto Brookline Avenue. At fifth set of lights, turn left onto Francis Street. The hospital is one block down on the left.

From Logan Airport:
Follow signs to Sumner Tunnel. At end of Sumner Tunnel, take immediate right for Storrow Drive. Stay in right lane on the ramp. Take the exit for Storrow Drive. This puts you in the left lane of merging traffic. Move into one of the two right lanes to stay on Storrow Drive. Take the Fenway/Route 1 South exit (on left). Stay in the left lane as you drive up the ramp. At lights, bear right onto Boylston Street. At third set of lights, bear left onto Brookline Avenue. At fifth set of lights, turn left onto Francis Street. The hospital is one block down on the left.

From the West:
Head east on Massachusetts Turnpike. Take Route 128 (I-95) south for approximately one mile. Take Route 9 east for six miles. Take a left onto Brookline Avenue (Brook House Condominiums will be on right). At third set of lights, turn right onto Francis Street. The hospital is one block down on the left. ~or~ Stay on Massachusetts Turnpike east. Take Huntington Avenue/Copley Square/Prudential Center exit, and bear left toward the Prudential. Follow Huntington Avenue west for approximately three miles. At Longwood Avenue, turn right. Take a left at Binney Street. Hospital will be on your left at Francis Street.

From the South:
Head north on Route 3 (Southeast Expressway). Take Massachusetts Avenue/Roxbury exit. At end of ramp, cross Massachusetts Avenue onto Melnea Cass Boulevard. At the 8th traffic light, take left onto Tremont Street. Take first right onto Ruggles Street. Turn left onto Huntington Avenue at intersection with Ruggles Street. At Longwood Avenue, turn right. Take a left at Binney Street. Hospital will be on your left at Francis Street.

One Brigham Circle (1620 Tremont Street)

(Note: This building is across the street from Brigham and Women's Hospital, on the other side of Huntington Avenue.)

From Points North: Head South on Route 93. Take Storrow Drive west. Take the Fenway/Route 1 South exit (on left). At lights, bear right onto Boylston Street. At third set of lights, bear left onto Brookline Avenue. At fifth set of lights, turn left onto Francis Street. Brigham and Women’s Hospital is one block down on the left. Drive past the front entrance of the Hospital and come to a set of lights on Huntington Avenue. The building is right in front of you across the intersection on the right side.
From Points South Shore:  Head north on Route 3 (Southeast Expressway). Take Massachusetts Avenue/Roxbury exit. At end of ramp, cross Massachusetts Avenue onto Melnea Cass Boulevard. At the 8th traffic light, take left onto Tremont Street. Take first right onto Ruggles Street. Take a left onto Brookline Avenue (Brook House Condominiums will be on right). At third set of lights, turn right onto Francis Street. The hospital is one block down on the left. Drive past the front entrance of the hospital and come to a set of lights on Huntington Avenue. The building is right in front of you across the intersection on the right side.
... Or  stay on Massachusetts Turnpike east. Take Huntington Avenue/Copley Square/Prudential Center exit, and bear left toward the Prudential. Follow Huntington Avenue west for approximately three miles. Turn left onto Tremont Street at Brigham Circle. The building is on the right.

From the West: Head east on the Mass Pike to exit 22 (Prudential/Copley). Stay left on the exit ramp following the signs for the Prudential Center. You will exit onto Huntington Avenue (Route 9 West). Follow past the Museum of Fine Arts and Mass. College of Art and go right onto Longwood Avenue. 221 Longwood Avenue is on your right. Valet parking is available in front of the building.
From the South: Head north on Route 3. Take the Massachusetts Ave./Roxbury exit. At end of ramp, cross Massachusetts Avenue onto Melnea Cass Boulevard. At the 8th traffic light, take left onto Tremont Street. Take first right onto Ruggles Street. Turn left onto Huntington Avenue at intersection with Ruggles Street. Turn right onto Longwood Avenue. 221 Longwood is on the right-hand side of the street.
From Routes 93 North or South: Take the Storrow Drive exit. At the top of the exit ramp, bear right at the first traffic light. Continue straight for 1/2 mile (the road will become Brookline Avenue). Turn left onto Longwood Avenue. The main entrance for 221 Longwood Avenue is on the left, just after the Longwood Avenue and Avenue Louis Pasteur intersection. Valet parking is available in front of the building.

Brigham and Women's Primary Care Associates of Brookline

Brookline Place is situated prominently at the intersection of Brookline Avenue, Route 9, and Route 1 (the Riverway) in the Longwood Medical Area. Brookline Place is across the street from the Brookline Village stop on the Riverside (D) Branch of the MBTA's Green Line, as well as stops on the 65 and 66 bus lines.

From Mass Pike Eastbound: Take Brighton-Allston exit (a left exit) after the toll booths; bear to the right and proceed down a ramp, and through one light to the corner where the DoubleTrees Inn is on your right. Turn right and enter Storrow Drive eastbound. Take the Fenway exit and bear right at the first light onto Boylston Street westbound. Proceed on Boylston westbound for less than a mile. At the major five-way traffic lights, bear left onto Brookline Avenue.
* Continue for 1.5 miles past the Longwood Hospital area into Brookline. Watch for Pearl Street on the right after a baseball field. Turn right onto Pearl Street, and take an immediate left into the circle driveway at the main entrance to One Brookline Place. The garage may be entered here, also.
From Route 93: Go to Storrow Drive. Take the Fenway exit, follow Brookline Avenue, following directions(*) above.
Route 128: Go to Route 9, continue eastbound until you come to Brookline Village. Take a left onto Brookline Avenue, where Brookline Place is situated.

From the West:

  • From Route 128, take exit 20A, Route 9 eastbound.
  • 850 Boylston Street is 4.1 miles on Route 9.
    (You will pass Chestnut Hill Mall on the left. We are .3 miles past Chestnut Hill Benevolent Association.)
  • The entrance to 850 Boylston Street will be on the right.

From the East:

  • Take Brookline Avenue South to Route 9.
  • Go outbound on Route 9 for 1.7 miles and  850 Boylston Street is on the left. 
  • Continue outbound on Route 9 past the building for .3 miles staying in the left hand lane. 
  • Drive into the left turn only lane and take a left. Drive around the bus stop at Chestnut Hill Benevolent Association and drive back onto Route 9 heading east.
  • Turn right into the parking lot at 850 Boylston Street.

By Public Transportation:

  • Take the MBTA Green Line (B,C, or D trains) to Kenmore Square.
  • From Kenmore, take bus number 60 to route 9. (The bus runs every 20 to 30 minutes and takes about 25 minutes to reach 850 Boylston Street.)
  • Ask the bus driver to let you off at the Chestnut Hill Fire station, which is across the street from 850 Boylston Street.

There is a shuttle bus that runs from the Service Center at Brigham and Women's Hospital to 850 Boylston Street.

From the West: From the west take the Mass Pike, heading towards Boston.  Take the exit for I-95/Rt. 128, in Newton. Take I-95/128 south to the Route 9 East exit. Get on Route 9 East and go through Newton and Brookline. In Brookline you will go through a large intersection with High Street on your right (and a Dunkin’ Donuts) and a Brookline Fire Station just past the intersection. The next set of lights is Brookline Avenue.  Continue on and go under the over pass.  Right after you go under the overpass, there will be a set of lights (South Huntington Avenue); take a right. Continue on South Huntington Avenue for .5 miles.  On the right you will see a large brick building called Mount Pleasant Home that has the same address, 301 South Huntington Avenue.  You will also see two construction trailers.  Right after the trailers, before the traffic light, is a newly paved driveway.  There are brick columns on either side of the driveway.  Turn right into the driveway.  Go down the hill to the clinic parking lot.  (You cannot see the clinic building from the street.)

From the East: Take Huntington Avenue west. Go past the Massachusetts College of Art, past Brigham and Women's Hospital and go to the intersection of South Huntington Avenue.  Make a left onto South Huntington Avenue. (Follow the trolley car tracks.)  Continue on South Huntington Avenue for .5 miles. On the right you will see a large brick building called Mt. Pleasant Home that has the same address, 301 South Huntington Avenue.  You will also see two construction trailers.  Right after the trailers, before the traffic light, is a newly paved driveway.  Turn right into the driveway.  There are brick columns on either side of the driveway.  Go down the hill to the clinic parking lot.  (You won’t be able to see the clinic from the street.)

Brookside Community Health Center

Located on Washington Street just two blocks from the intersection with Green Street.

To reach the facility by public transportation, take the Orange Line train to Green Street. When exiting the station, turn right on Green Street, walk about three blocks, and turn left on Washington Street. Walk two more blocks and Brookside Community Health Center will be on your left.

Heading east into Boston (driving from the BWH main campus): Starting from the intersection of Huntington Avenue and Tremont Street (One Brigham Circle), turn right onto Tremont Street. Take Tremont Street approx. 0.6 miles to Columbus Avenue (after Roxbury Crossing T Station).  Turn right onto Columbus Avenue. (Roxbury Community College is on your left.) Continue on Columbus Avenue approx. 1.1 miles to Washington Street. There will be a gas station on your left. Turn right onto Washington Street, proceed approx. 0.5 miles. Brookside Community Health Center will be on your right at 3297 Washington Street.

Located at the corner of Centre Street and Green Street. To reach the facility by public transportation, take the #39 bus from Forest Hills or Copley Square; or take the Orange Line to the Green Street stop, head left on Green Street and walk three blocks to Centre Street.

From the West: Take Route 9 East toward Boston. Soon after you pass the set of lights at Brookline Avenue, turn right onto the Jamaicaway. Proceed about two miles; turn left on Pond Street. Go to the end of the street and turn right onto Centre Street. SJPHC will be on the left.
From the East: take Huntington Avenue in Boston past the Longwood Medical Area. Turn left onto South Huntington Avenue, following the trolley tracks. At the end of South Huntington, bear right onto Centre Street. SJPHC will be one mile further on your left.
