BWH Ranks in U.S. News Top Hospitals

For the 18th consecutive year, BWH placed on the U.S. News & World Report's Honor Roll of America's Best Hospitals, ranking eleventh. BWH ranked in the top ten for gynecology, kidney, heart, rheumatology and diabetes.

New Multidisciplinary Wound Care Center

BWH's new Wound Care Center offers patients a centralized location for wound care. A team of doctors, physician assistants, nurses and specialists treats the full spectrum of typical and atypical wounds.

BWH Part of ABC News Series “Boston Med”

Brigham and Women's is featured in an 8-week medical documentary on ABC, airing Thursdays at 10pm. Episode 6 showed an aortic valve replacement and followed ob/gyn residents. Watch videos, including the episode 7 trailer.

Study Brings Mothers’ Voices to Incubators

A BWH study is testing the effects of a mother's voice on brain development of extremely vulnerable newborns. Infants are exposed to 45 minutes of maternal sounds, four times per day, throughout their NICU hospitalization.
